Sometimes daily life just needs a little unexpected intervention. Art is instrumental in providing a relief from those difficult moments of stress and anxiety.

That’s where Tonton comes in.

From interiors and exteriors, online and offline channels, my creations are designed to uplift and engage with spaces and the people in them. Providing a welcome moments of relief through visual art and storytelling.

Tonton, French for uncle, is what my nephew and niece call me. What began with them now shapes Good Day Tonton— play, curiosity and imagination. I’m a visual storyteller and world builder artist from Cape Town, South Africa with roots in France now living in Utrecht. With over 16 years of experience in branding, graphic design and visual communication, my creative journey has been a continuous evolution, much like a Pokémon VMax, thanks to my nephew Ralph for the metaphor.

My practice blends illustration, design, art and storytelling across a wide range of mediums: tufted textiles, murals, theatrical images... Each medium becomes a tool to shape playful, purposeful art eperieces to connect and inspire people and spaces.
